Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Push Up Time: App Blocker ("Push Up Time", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the App. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
1. Summary
Push Up Time helps you block selected apps or websites and earn access time by completing exercises such as push-ups, squats, or planks. The App uses camera-based pose detection, Apple Screen Time APIs, app settings stored on your device, analytics, and subscription services.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your camera video for advertising.
- Camera frames are processed on your device for exercise detection. We do not intentionally record, store, or upload camera video to our servers.
- Screen Time selections are handled through Apple's Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks. The App stores the selections and timing state needed to make blocking work.
- We use third-party services such as Firebase and Adapty for analytics, diagnostics, paywalls, and subscription management.
2. Information We Collect or Process
Depending on how you use the App, the following categories of information may be collected or processed:
- App usage and interaction data: events such as app launches, onboarding progress, screen views, selected exercise type, difficulty changes, reward collection, paywall events, settings actions, and feature usage.
- Exercise activity data: exercise choices, completed repetitions or hold duration, earned app access time, reward progress, and related in-app progress.
- Screen Time selection and blocking data: app and website selections, active blocking sessions, remaining or earned access time, and related local state. Apple may represent selected apps and websites using tokens. We do not intentionally send the names of selected apps or websites to analytics.
- Camera and pose detection data: camera frames are used on device to estimate body landmarks and count exercises. Pose detection is used live while the camera screen is open. We do not intentionally save or upload your camera video.
- Purchase and subscription data: subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, transaction status, purchase errors, and restore status. Payments are processed by Apple. Subscription management is supported by Adapty.
- Device, diagnostic, and analytics data: device type, operating system version, app version, approximate technical information, crash or error data, app instance identifiers, and similar information that may be collected by Firebase, Adapty, Apple, or other service providers.
- Support communications: if you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you include in your message.
3. Camera Processing
Push Up Time uses the device camera to detect exercise form and count repetitions or time holds. Camera access is optional, but some exercise features will not work without it. Camera frames are processed locally on your device using pose detection technology. The App may download a machine learning model from Google's MediaPipe model hosting service so pose detection can run on your device. That download request may be visible to the model hosting provider as a normal network request.
4. Screen Time and App Blocking
Push Up Time uses Apple's Screen Time-related frameworks to let you choose apps and websites to manage. The App stores the local state required to apply blocking rules, track earned access time, and unlock selected apps or websites for selected durations. You can manage or revoke Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Third-Party Services
We use service providers to operate and improve the App:
- Firebase: used for analytics and may be used for diagnostics, crash reporting, or remote configuration. Firebase may collect app interaction data, device identifiers, diagnostic data, and technical information.
- Adapty: used for paywalls, subscription status, purchase events, and entitlement management. Adapty may process subscription-related identifiers, product data, purchase status, and app usage events related to monetization.
- Apple: processes App Store purchases, refunds, subscriptions, Screen Time permissions, and system-level privacy controls.
- Google MediaPipe model hosting: may be contacted to download pose detection model files needed for on-device exercise detection.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We use these services to provide core functionality, understand whether the App works correctly, improve the user experience, and manage subscriptions.
